What are k-tips?

K-tip extensions are a strand-by-strand extension method in which individual strands of hair is attached to your hair using keratin.

The Methods

Seamless transformation, rooted in healthy hair.

Traditional

A standard install of 250-300 grams of K-Tip extensions. Applied row by row without any hair left in between. This method allows maximum density and volume, while still giving a natural look and flow.

Invisible

A seamless K-Tip extension install of 250 grams of extensions. A small section of hair left out between each keratin tip. This method allows maximum versatility, matched to your hair density, the most seamless and undetectable install.

Hybrid

An install of 150-200 grams of K-Tip extensions and, 1-2 bundles sewn in the back. The K-Tips are installed around the perimeter of the head and front leave out. This method gives a semi-protective install, while still providing versatility.

How long does k-tip installs last?

With proper care and maintenance k-tips last 3-6 months. Wear time also depends on your hair growth and shedding rates.

Will K-Tips grow my hair?

While no extension method actually accelerates hair growth, keratin tips gives full access to your hair and scalp. With that, you're able to have the opportunity to keep a consistent scalp and hair care regimen to maintain healthy hair, unlike many other methods that restrict hair and scalp access.

My hair is thinning, can I wear ktips?

Thin hair does not disqualify you. Once your hair is assessed to determine if it can withstand the keratin extension, we will customize your install to do so. 

How much does the install cost?

Price depends on the method recommended for you. The cost varies between $2,000-$2,800+ starting price. Your exact investment will be determined during your consult, based on the complexity of your install.

What is the maintenance?

In-salon shampoo, assessment and re-style once a month (every 2-3 weeks) gently brush daily, protect your hair at night. There's no "tightening" or "move up", k-tips grow out with your hair until removal.

How long does the install take?

I work very intentional, not fast. That being said the process from start to finish can take between 6-8 hours. So relax, bring your favorite snacks, laptop, etc...and we'll order your favorite lunch.
